Sara Singh has drawn for as long as she can remember. Her drawings, primarily executed in watercolor and ink, are fluid and ethereal. “The body is endlessly intriguing,” Sara says, “and drawing is a kind of stenography describing it. It’s faster than painting, but it still tells the story.” Currently based in New York City, Sara Singh grew up among places as varied as London, Stockholm, and Florida. “I think the challenge in fashion illustration is to be flexible enough to remain current while still staying true to a personal aesthetic.” Sara has a degree in fashion design from Beckman's College of Design in Stockholm, Sweden.
